Accessibility statement.

Our commitment

SwanWorks Home Services is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology. We design and build this site to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

Supported features

This site is built to support the following:

  • Semantic HTML5 landmarks — header, navigation, main, and footer regions for screen-reader navigation.
  • A "Skip to main content" link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements.
  • Full keyboard operability for menus, buttons, links, the contact form, and the FAQ accordion.
  • Meaningful alternative text on informative images; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form inputs with associated labels, required-field indicators, and inline error messages announced via role="alert".
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG AA (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and UI components).
  • Responsive layouts that support text zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function.
  • Reduced-motion support — animations and transitions are minimized when the visitor's system preference is "reduce motion".
  • Touch targets sized for comfortable use on mobile devices.
  • Tested with modern screen readers including NVDA, VoiceOver, and JAWS.

Known limitations

We're continually improving. If you encounter content that isn't accessible — for example, a missing label, an unlabeled image, or a section that's hard to navigate by keyboard or screen reader — please let us know so we can fix it.

Request assistance or report a barrier

If anything on this site is preventing you from contacting us or learning about our services, please reach out directly. We'll respond within one business day and gladly take your service request by phone, text, or email instead.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is treated as part of every site update — we run automated accessibility checks before releasing changes and address feedback as we receive it. This statement is reviewed periodically and updated when our website or accessibility practices change.
